I own a Tbird 800 Mhz with and Abit KT7.
I recently installed Motherboard Monitor to my system and found that my CPU temperture is going from 30C to 40C in a matter of 10 Min or so. Then the temp goes back down just as fast.

What is a normal operation temp for a Athlon 800?? and is it normal to have this type of temp variations??

Any advice will be apreciated.

It is normal. Athlons max temp is around 70C ro so. Correct me if I'm wrong. Heat can also be influence by your ambient temperature too because no matter how good your fan is if you put your comptuer in a desert it will still remain 50C.
