it's a fun back to basics approach to pinball. I liked it I had never
really played any capcom's before. The ball lock is really neat, you
"create" a captive ball and have to hit it to lock the balls.

I've chimed in on this topic before.
One of my favorite games. Fun DMD, and sound. Simple layout and a
common theme. Anyone can play it. Fairly deep play into the program
in cutthroat countdown. I think "Korn" suggested to disable one of the
optos and it plays better, (correct me if I'm wrong). Haven't tried
that on mine.
Parts are a little hard to get unless someone who was at the Expo when
they were selling that stuff off wants to part with some. BAA has some
coils, I think. Illinois Pinball has what's left of the Capcom parts
and I obtained a few items for my Breakshot through Kim, but cosmetics
were a no-go.
If you get the game and all is well, do a quick review of what you
think might break, then use a little preventative maintenance.

Had the game for awhile and ended up selling it. Don't miss it. Kinda
easy gameplay w/nice DMD animations and sound bites though. I suppose
in a bigger collection it would be ok but just didn't have long term
appeal to me.

I like mine. I like the animation and the sounds. Game play is fun,
fast and really keeps you going. I did what Korn said and
disconnected the opto and it plays much better and makes the game
harder. The game may not be a long term keeper for me but this is the
2nd one I have bought. It is probably not a 1-5 pin but definitely
with a larger collection of pieces this is a nice addition.
I would get the game. Especially if your collection is larger then 5
pieces. Bill

This is a price-vs-fun question. This game has a fairly low value and
is worth it because of that.
This is a good game to get, but it depends on price. They seem to hover
in the sub $1500 range which is OK for this game. Anything sub $1300 is
a go, sub $1k is a steal.

Yeah.... unplug the opto that detects when there is a ball in the center
area but NOT in a saucer. The game will compensate by requiring you to
stick a ball INTO a saucer to start/finish locking balls. Much more
satisfying and difficult way to play. Way too easy otherwise!
Definitely the only game I can think of that plays -better- when broken.
Also the only broken part on a game that I was never able to eventually
track down and gave up. (long story; it's in google somewhere.)

I left mine hooked up. I adjusted the game play a little harder.

Mike Pacak was working on getting some made and then just plain came to
a screeching halt. I think Gene @ IP may have took a piece out of his
rear when he heard about it. Too bad because I want an extra. Almost
could taste it. It's an awesome wall hanger!

I like mine, and it's likely to stay around for awhile.
Very solid game, and it's unlikely you'll need too many
spare parts. Weak items are drop targets, coil brackets
and flipper coils stops.
After all, BBB is going to need some company!
