I've been having some serious issues as of late. Firstly, in the past 2 days I have been receiving numerous BSODs for some reason. The problem I am also having is that after the computer restarts the desktop and folders appear as they would have a few hours before the BSOD occurred. Let me clarify this:
Let's say I delete folders and/or re-arrange/add files right before a BSOD occurs (even an hour before it occurs). Once the BSOD occurs and the computer shuts down, I re-start it only to find that those folders and/or files are no longer there; instead the computer appears as it was hours earlier. Almost like its in some deep-freeze state where no matter what I add or change, after each BSOD the file structure/material will revert back to the way it was hours or days earlier. It's almost like the BSOD is causing the computer to have System Restore-like symptoms.
I am running Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit. Can anybody please offer any help? I'd greatly appreciate it.
