I have a Packard bell computer with a Pll 350 mhz cpu. It uses a slot one with 142 pins can i up grade to a 600mhz cpu?? What ptoblems can i look to encounter. Oh it has 100mhz front side bus. Or what P111 would recomend?

Without knowing the specific model # of you computer, no one could tell you what upgrades you could do to it. My suggestion to you would be to go to Packard Bell's home page and look up your model, and reference what CPU you could use, and what the FSB is.

you should be able to upgrade to a PIII 600, mebbe the 600E if your motherboard supports the lower voltage, which is doubtful.
try to find out what voltage it supplies for the processor, but the 600 w/512K L2 is a sure fit.

My model number is 870 with a BX mother board and 100mhz memory
