Hello,
My grandson, for some unknown reason, put a password on my Toshiba C655 laptop computer.I know the password, but would like to remove the requirement to enter the password.I really don't want to open it up and remove the cmos battery. Is there anything else that I can do?

You should be able to disable the password once you use it to enter the BIOS screens.

Removing the CMOS battery won't work as, these days, the security uses flash memory which doesn't need battery backup.
