i live in Pakistan where the mains electricity supply is frequently out living me waiting for it to return.

i am looking for a laptop that can replace my mains dependent desktop and is:

- min 13inch,

- can offer me desktop like performance, - reasonable battery life,

- no overheating issues

- the ability to replace parts (e.g. RAM,battery) if they get faulty.

By desktop performance i mean min 1.8 ghz x 2 processor with 1033 fsb + a good graphics card.

graphics switching laptops are not an option cause i use linux.
