It seems that the computor is reading your mind.
It is very interesting.

28 question to guess an ashtray. The particular ashtray I had in mind is dull plastic. I said it was plastic, yet the computer disagrees that it's mineral. It also disagrees that it's a geological product, even though it's made from petrochem, which qualifies as both partly geological (as I told it) AND mineral. The computer says it's metal, and would normally be given as a gift.

29 questions to guess a receipt, similar contridictions such as multicolored (it's black and white), vegetable (computer says other), etc.

I won the third round with a screw. Computer doesn't know it can be found outside, that it can be bright (plated), that it can be found on a desk (name a desk that doesn't have screws!), etc.

I won on a hard drive rack, it's not even in the database.

I just won on a case fan. Searched thoroughly and couldn't find any system fans listed (CPU fan, computer fan, similar terms).

Crash, that was innovative thinking of your's to enter that, never underestimate the obvious, or so they say.
By the way, Crash, I think its admirable that you and many other top blokes here give so freely of the information and knowledge that you have stored in the mind. I dont know how much thanks you all get but this site - and the people who give so freely - has educated me no end when it comes to pc related stuff. Not to mention having many a laugh along the way.
To give so freely - especially in this day and age - is almost a novel thing.

I was thinking of this round microphone I have for a computer, the kind you can hang on the side or clip to your shirt. I won. But here's where the computer disagreed:
Is it straight? You said No, I say Yes.
Would you use it daily? You said Maybe, I say No.
Is it round? You said Sometimes, I say No.
Does it make sound? You said No, I say Probably.
Does it bring joy to people? You said No, I say Yes.
Does it break if dropped? You said No, I say Yes.
Can you play with it? You said No, I say Yes.
Does it conduct electric current? You said Irrelevant, I say Yes.

I just won on epoxy, not in database. Glue is, but the answers would have been different for other types of glue.

actually I was picking random things from my desk to test the size of the database and accuracy of the answers. You have to understand that these answers are based on other people's answers, and that people in generaly are clueless.
So it's really a test of former participants!

And former participants are prolly average intellegence at best.

It didn't quess right twice:
Flying Squirrel (didn't guess) & Concrete (took 26 questions)
Some contradictions found.
Seems more like an adaptive rules based system than true AI, but cool nonetheless since it learns
