I have a kinda dumb question, I was droping in my duron cpu onto a a7v motherboard. I got it in just like the book says, check it like 50 times. When i was pushing down the lever, the cpu sounded like the pins on it were bending. The lever need a little force to push down.it wasnt very loud but im kinda wondering . is that normal? or was it just the pastic socket stressing from the lever being moved down?
plz tell me it is

Thanks, Mech warrior

Just switch on the power, and you will see if everything o.k. or you had been f%^#$% up. (-:
The lever usually make some noise. If you have to use force to insert the CPU it could be bad. if it get in easyly, don't worry about lever noise.
p.s. newer chips too delicate for normal use, they have the silicone expozed.
