Since the recompilation changed so much, perhaps intel should give away their compiler, so those of us having a intel cpu could recompile our stuff to take advantage of a better compiler. Or they could work with those making free compilers, like gcc. Apparently a good compiler means everything, so lets all have access to the compiler, else it wont matter.
If intel wont give the compiler away, how can the flask utility get better. This would mean that theoreticaly the P4 would look great, since tom tested with the good compiler, but in real life usage the rest of us might not have access to the compiler that makes all the difference.
