Hi folks.
I have a ToM that I think it is having a few problems.

After I hit the center staircase five times the locks light up. So I
hit the lock and it locks ball one. Then the locks stay lit, but when
I shoot the horshoe ramp again the post up/diverter comes up behind the
trunk and takes the ball, but it does not lock. This happens many
times without locking. Should that lock the ball or not? Mind you,
lock lights are still lit. I think something needs fixing here. Plus,
it makes it difficult to complete "spirit cards" because the pop up
post keeps knocking the ball into the back of the trunk.

The top left gate above the rollover lanes doesn't fully go up,
blocking the ball from making a full right to left orbit and sending it
into the rollovers. I know it is getting the signal because it makes a
noise and tries to open, but it just stops halfway or so. What should
I be looking for here?

The basement acts strange too. After hitting each white target four
times(?) the basement lights up. How long should "Raise basement"
stay lit if I continue to miss the basement shot? Sometimes it seems
to stay lit until I make the shot, other times it turns off.

After a ball drain the DMD goes through the bonus, magicianship, etc.
When I first got the game I think that I had to press a flipper button
each time to skip the different post ball awards. Now I press it once
and it sequences through all of them. It is faster, but is that the
way it is supposed to be?

Is multiball a three or four ball multiball? Seems lately it has been
three, but I think I remember a four at one time. Is there a way to
add a ball during multiball?

Concerning The horseshoe shot where safe escape and spirit cards are
collected, I had a multiball going at one time and I could almost be
certain that I hit a ball up the left side of the horseshoe and right
side of the horseshoe at the same time and they both exited the
horseshoe on the other side without colliding. Is this possible or was
it just magic?

There is a spring from the coil up to the gate. Where it attaches onto the
gate, it has slipped up and out of position, slide it back down. LTG :)

If you press the flippers during bonus it skips through the whole thing
really fast. I do not believe there is a way to make it wait til' you
flip for it to show each bonus category.

Multiball is Three balls.

As for the balls magically passing thru one another, - they probly
colided and then rebounded giving that apperance.

I have seen the same problem on mine. Perhaps a switch problem with the
trunk locks, maybe the balls aren't exiting from that area properly (that is
what happens in mine, sometimes it tries to feed a ball to the basement
popper but the ball remains stuck in the locked position.

Inspect and bend the mechanism (likely the spring).

I haven't figured out if it times out after XX seconds or after X failed
middle ramp/miss basement attempts. I see the same behavior. though.

Trunk multiball is 3 ball, Tiger Saw is 2-ball, I presume Grand Finale is
4-balls.

I believe if you have the tiger saw ball locked (vanish) and then start
the trunk multi ball you get a 4 ball multball. Then after the
multiball vanish is lit again.

Yes. It should lock. I'd guess that the switch that monitors the 2nd
locked ball under the pf is not registering, so the game thinks ball 2
is not locked yet, allowing an unlimited number of ball 2 locks. Test
the switches.

When launching the ball, the game automatically cycles through the
skill shot awards (start illusion etc.) Is this what you mean?

IF I recall, three, unless one is locked in vanish lock.

That's like tiger saw multiball. The left ball came from the vanish
lock, the right ball came back down. During tiger saw, the effect is
the ball being cut in two.. thus delivering two balls.
