Folks,

I'm an experienced palm user but not when it comes to things like blue
tooth.

I've had several palm pilots and now have a Palm T2. I'd like to give
it to my spouse and get a T5 for myself. However in doing so, here are
the things I'd like to accomplish:

1) Hotsync T2 with Dell XP laptop (using blue tooth)
2) Hotsync T5 with IBM Windows 2000 laptop (using blue tooth)
Blue tooth is not Native to either of these laptop. Note: I prefer not
to get into the IR exchange or sync because of a complex business
environment. I want to keep IR off on my T5 and IBM.

3) Exchange palm-native info (e.g. calendar, notes, appointments)
using blue tooth between the T2 and T5.

4) Any gotchas in moving my personal apps from T2 to T5?
a) DateBk5
b) eBook
c) Bonsai / DayNotez
e) ChessGenius, etc...

5) Operate T2 pretty much vanilla OS but exchange appointments between
T2 <-> T5 (DateBk5)

6) Recommendations for a USB blue tooth radio for the laptops
(compatible with T2 & T5 for HotSync) would be appreciated.

7) If I read things correctly, I would be able to give up my small MP3
player and transfer MP3 files to the T5. I'm frequently locked up on
long 10-15 hour flights to Asia. Any comments on battery life, etc.
Recommendations on extending battery life on the T5 (or T2)?

My spouse would really like the brighter screen and the collapsible T2
appeals to her availability purse real estate. The larger screen on
the T5 appeals to me and with my large hands, I find the slide form
factor of the T2 too fiddly. However, I will miss the voice memo
portion of the T2.

Regards and thanks,
Roger
