Hey everyone! Im looking into buying a laptop since im going to college next year and im wondering if

the Asus G73JH-X1 was good for the price. Are there any other laptops similar to it with a cheaper

Not that I am aware of. You can take a look around NewEgg or Tiger Direct though to see what they have in regard to deals.

Hi there,

You should also look into the Toshiba Qosmio X505-Q880. It has 2.8 GHz Intel Core i7-740QM and NVIDIA GeForce GTS 460M. It is a slightly bigger than the size you mentioned (18.4") but it is an excellent gaming laptop! It even has Blu-ray. It is slightly over your budget at $1599 but the specs are great!
