Metro UI or Secure Boot.

If Microsoft gave you a choice with windows8 what would you chose. to remove Secure boot or to remove Metro UI.
Personally I would choose to remove Metro UI, cause Secure boot can be disabled on the right PC.
 
Secure boot is a good idea if you're running an operating system with a static boot sequence such as Windows. It can be turned off to run operating systems that don't have signed boot sequences but I fully expect most Linux vendors to have their keys supported

I don't really have a problem with Metro either. It seems a little immature right now but it has potential
