I have an ASUS UL50V thats up to date with all the drivers. But for some reason my WiFi just shuts off for no apparent reason. It's getting to the point where i cant use it without an ethernet cable plugged into it. I'm hoping someone else has a fix for this because It's getting progressivly worse.

You can try this:

Go to the Control Panel, and click Hardware and Sound. Then click Power Options. You should see a couple power plans, Balanced and Power Saver, maybe others. Click on Change Plan Settings for which ever plan you have selected. Then click Change advanced power settings. Look for Wireless Adapter Settings, and click the little + next to it. Then click the little + next to Power Saving Mode. Make sure it is set to Maximum Performance, and hopefully that'll help.
