Why do you keep posting that garbage? If you had ever asked and gotten
permission to copy Andy's work that'd be different, but obviously you
haven't at all.

If anyone is new to the newsgroup, this is to a falsely modified version
of the guidebook. Visit the real one instead if you want spoily info;
it's at http://www.andywlms.com/adom/.

Well, I'm glad someone else is taking over the responsibility of
undermining Pavel's imaginary authority. To tell you the truth, I was
just starting to get a little annoyed with him (you guys may not have
noticed, since I always keep a cool head).

"Alternatively, just download this Improved Guidebook here, but please do
not tell the newsgroup."

Why? Are you scared that we might one again point out that you are
infringing Andrew Williams's copyright?

Actually, I believe this would make three times; this is the second time
he's made a post like that, just reminding people that his "Improved
Guidebook" exists. I don't think talking is going to do the least bit of
good in terms of convincing him to Stop Doing It; he honestly doesn't
see what's wrong with what he's doing, and on that basis refuses to do
what other people ask. I can respect and even support that kind of
attitude, but it doesn't make him any less wrong in this case.

My guess would be he's afraid that abuse@firma.seznam.cz will start
getting a whole bunch of e-mails along the lines of

"The individual being hosted at http://sweb.cz/adomgb/ has taken a
copyrighted work (found at
http://users.rcn.com/andy.williams/adom/adomgb-toc.html ) and reproduced
it. This is a violation of copyright and as such is illegal both in the
USA (home of the author) and in the Czech Republic.

The duplicate version of the copyrighted work may be found online at
http://sweb.cz/adomgb/adomgb.zip . This individual has been asked by
the creator of the work to cease distribution of the illegal copy of it,
and has repeatedly refused. Please ask this individual to cease
distributing the copyrighted work he has stolen or remove the website in
question. Thank you."

(And if anyone can provide another abuse address to complain to, I'd
love to hear about it.)

fine, actually, save for two non-successful ULE's.

it's getting boring winning with dwarven priests, but i'm too
lazy to try something else.
