THis is the problem i keep receiving:

Problem Event Name: StartupRepair Offline
Problem Signature 01: 6.1.7600.16385
Problem Signature 02: 6.1.7600.16385
Problem Signature 03: Unknown
Problem Signature 04: 21200971
Problem Signature 05: Auto Fail Over
Problem Signature 06: 16
Problem Signature 07: Corrupt Registry
OS Version 6.1.7600.2.0.0.256.1
Locale ID: 1033

I thought if I repair using my windows install cd it would correct the registry error. Unfortunately, when i booted from the cd, it said that there were no errors found.

Turn on your PC and bring up the Advanced Startup Options (F8).
Choose "last known good configuration"
press Enter.

This did not work for me sadly, it went straight into the startup repair screen, running startup repair again. there may be another problem i think. Thanks for the response though.

I might just reinstall windows at this point. Im going to bite the bullet cause its faster to reinstall all my programs then to try to find a work around.
