Acer Aspire AS5745G-7671 vs. HP Pavilion dv6

Hello,I'm trying to decide on a laptop under $700 and I'm stuck between 2 right no, and I'm not sure which is better performance wise. I plan on moderate gaming, something like Fallout: New Vegas or MW2 level. Here are the 2 laptops' specs

HP Pavilion:

I plan on upgrading it to a Radeon 5650 card and leave the rest alone

Hello and welcome to the forums
Go with HP Pavilion but make sure you get the HD 5650M card(since it can be customized with 3 VGA's) because the other cards(GT 420M,HD 5470M) are low-end for gaming.

Donutz, I hope you haven't pulled the trigger yet.

Amazon and Newegg have that Acer Aspire AS5745G-7671 listed for 599.99 right now... part of their Black Friday deals (Amazon's price is a price match to Newegg's, I think).

At that price, I'd say the Acer is a steal.
