MINI DVI TO HDMI?????

Hi, i have been looking around for mini dvi to hdmi adapters but everything I find says mac book or I Book. Will these adapters still work for my Compaq laptop?? I want to plug my laptop into my plasma to watch football and such that is blacked out in my area. Thanks.

So, is it a mini DVI to VGA you are looking for or a VGA to HDMI?

VGA to HDMI, sorry. Yeah I'm not sure where to find it. Also looking for a VGA to S-Video and the red yellow and white composite cables as well.
