need help on when i run an hdmi cable both from the computer to the montier,i cant get no picture,both monitor an computer are brand new,is there a setting i need to check,running windows 7premium monitor is FLATRON ips235v computer is Gateway DX4860-ub

Did u set the TV to the PC mode or the corresponding HDMI output?

The FLATRON ips235v is a monitor, not a TV.

What happens if you connect to the monitor using a VGA or DVI cable?
