I read a scroll of familier summoning in the dwarven halls and this is
what popped up. I trained him a little bit, and he seems pretty
unstoppable.

This is an emperor lich. He is your companion. He appears to be
experienced.
The emperor lich is not damaged. [M]ore

Any ideas on what he could be used for? With a little more training i
bet he could kill everything in the casino (without affecting my L+
alignment).

Go to Terinyo. Tell your familiar to kill everyone and raise them as
zombies. Ascend your throne of skulls and revel in your dark dominion.
Mwa ha ha ha ha!

Well, i wasn't planning on toting him around for the rest of the game,
i just thought i could park him somewhere and use him for times that i
don't want to get my hands dirty. Besides, sometimes its fun to just
watch everything that he gets near just drop dead.

See that bit up at the top? Where you say he "seems pretty unstoppable"?
You are right. Such powerful pets/companions have two disadvantages:

1. You don't gain experience for things they kill, so your level won't
go up (as much anyway).

2. If, or rather WHEN it turns on you, through you triggering a trap
and hitting it, or getting out of line of sight (possibly other ways)
you may very well be killed, since it is likely to be stronger than
you. Even if you DO kill it, or manage to run away, you are then no
longer in possession of your powerful companion, and whilst it has
been doing the killing your level and skills have not been developing,
so you will be weak without it.
