It begs the question, if the system is so great, especially value wise (according to the author) why did it only get straight "8"'s??

with a 1.2gig t-bird, ddr memory (total ram isn't specified, but i would imagine at least 128meg), 2 40gig ibm drives in raid 0, gf2 ultra, this system blows everything else out of the water in terms of performance...yet it gets a 9. i can't imagine what system would be needed to get a 10.

Problem is when this test was run it was probally run on a motherboard that has been recalled because of frequency noise because of a design flaw in the 266 ddr mobo . Micron is stating a 90 day or more wait to get this system because they have to redesign the board.

If the fat lady's singing at least shes losing weight.
