Internet connection drops. Ping and torrenting still works

Every few days -sometimes several times a day- my internet connection suddenly drops. Page loading times out on both IE and FF.
I can ping google, and uTorrent works as well, the only thing NOT working is the web browsers.
The only solution is to restart the computer.
This problem also started appear on my laptop after i upgraded from Vista to W7 a few days ago, regardless if i use a wired or wireless network connection
It works on every other computer in the house (They have XP installed)

My stationary W7 has a realtek network adapter
The laptop W7 has a intel adapter.
My "router" is a MicroTik wireless antenna that picks up a signal about 5km away.

Is there any way to fix this problem?

I would try updating your drivers, make sure they are the latest. Also use windows to trouble shoot the internet connection if you can. Display the message when you get it.

Drivers are up to date, as this was the first ting i tried.
The Windows troubleshooter can't find the problem. It only gives me "The troubleshooter is unable to resolve your problem"
