Which LED monitor is best for my budget?

My Samsung SyncMaster 226BW 22" Widescreen is almost over five years old. I do a lot of writing, a lot of design, gaming, etc...

I'm looking at upgrading to an LED 24". I've looked through Newegg.com and have seen the prices go from $300-$800 and up.

My budget cannot exceed $400.

Which is the best quality LED monitor for that price range? Any insight would be deeply appreciated.

I just found this monitor on Newegg. The cheap price caught my eye...however sometimes you get what you pay for, right?

Per the reviews, it seems Asus makes a good monitor.

I am not an expert, but I know that this is a normal price for a monitor like this. You can get a good 24" for cheaper of Amazon, but this is still a good monitor at this price.
