YASD and hello im new here

Hello, I have been playing ADOM for a year now, and I have had one
stupid death.I cant use the memorial file here because its on my old
computer which is a windows 3.11 located in my garage.My current
computer is a Windows ME and it plays adom, so thats good.Anyway, I had
a Dwarven Barbarian, level 28.I was at the outlaw village(can't spell
it...)and I allready killed the main baddies there,Hotzenplotz was
pathetic. I was walking along, just got a new Helmet, don't remember
what its called.Here is the message,"Someone throws a Gold piece at
you! You a severly wounded! You die..." WHAT!?! I am freakin' STRONG! A
thrownCOIN kills me?I mean, I could kill those lone necromacers in one
hit.Unarmed.Cowerd mode.Note I'm on that mode when im not fighting in
case im attacked sudenly.I also have a BLESSEDDragon Scale Mail
on!!!(+10,+10 i think i don't know...)AND I AM KILLED BY A COIN THROWN
AT ME???WHAT IS THAT???Some one tell me how thats possible, no don't...

Yes, welcome home. (This *will* be home, trust me.)

And just a (fairly obvious) tip about shopkeepers: they won't throw any
Super Killer Gold Coins at you if you don't tick them off. Avoid ticking
them off; don't do anything off-colour to them, their shops, or the
contents of their shops. Tangling with a shopkeeper is generally a lot
more trouble than it's worth.
