Hi,

I've just installed a complete system running with a MSI-K7N420 Pro. Everything is running fine but the network don't work a maximum capability. What I mean is that I can connect to the network but I can only receive at a maximum of 5 ko/s.

Here is a complete listing of the computer

MSI-K7N420 Pro motherboard
2 * 128 Mo DDR Samsung
16x DVD Pioneer
40 Go Diamond Max Hard Drive
Running under Windows Me

After I test the onboard Lan, I've also tryed 2 others networks adapters (both PCI) and it was the same result:

D-Link DFE-530TX 10/100 Mbps
LinkSys II Ethernet combo card 10 Mbps

I've also tryed different type of connexion and it change nothing:

Direct through my DSL modem
PC to PC
Through a SMC Barricade 10/100 DSL Router 4 ports

I've virtually check everything but nothing seem to be wrong.

I need help.

Thanks.

Thanks for the advice,

Yesterday I've changed the only thing that I've never change in the other testing : Windows Me

I've format everything and install Win98 Se and the network, and sudenly, the network worked fine. After that success, I upgrade to Win XP and it worked fine too. The problem was Windows Me.
