Programs on the Cloud

I read somewhere that the cloud can be used to store programs like InDesign and allow businesses to have constant access to them for their employees. What I don't understand is how that could work with the registration keys. Wouldn't you still need a key for every computer?

Cloud computing uses the online authentication protocol in order to provide access from any computer having Internet connectivity. A user is provided with a login and password, which he can use to log into the cloud server from any computer having Internet connectivity.
