Issues with montior

Hello,
I purchased an ACER S232HL, and have a radeon 5830 HD card. When I log in to my pc from either restarting it, or just just initially accessing the pc, the monitor goes black for 3-4 seconds and when the monitor comes back on, the desktop has enlarged. I have to log off and log back in to reset it, it's a bit annoying.

Not a monitor issue, the card is not saving your settings. Re-install the drivers from AMD's site.

Ya got a driver removal program and it worked like a charm.. ty for answering the post though
