i already have a p3 600eb. i need to replace my motherboard and maybe gain a little performance for very cheap. should i go dual p3, or go duron/mobo for price performance? and yes i want to run 2000
If your memory will support the extra speed (most pc133 cas2 when set to cas3), go with the Asus CUSL2-C and then bump your bus speed up to 150. Or, same mobo, set the bus/memory/PCI timing to 133/100/33 and try clocking it up to 160 or so until your PCI cards can't take it anymore and then back down to the highest level that runs stable. If only you had the 600E instead of the EB..............
Much as it may be a bit of a waist to replace a perfectly good m/b, i would without a doubt go for the duron... As the ASUS A7V can be a bit pricey, i would personally go for the DFI AK74. They are simply brilliant and aer much cheaper to boot.
