USR handles support for its retail-packaged and its OEM modems differently.
Finding drivers for an OEM modem on the USR web site is like pulling teeth, and
the USR wizard is keyed to recognize only the retail brand modems. Pull the
modem from the system, write down the USR part number and poke and prod around
the USR web site for the part number, or look in a web site area that has OEM
info in it.
Or maybe say to heck with the USR OEM modem and go for a replacement?
