Someone I know is upgrading to a 32" screen for his pc and he gave me his dell e228wfp 22". Being much larger than my previous monitor I'm using it despite some concerns I'm having about it.
First, it has a greenish-yellow tint to it. I've been able to adjust most of it out, but I still don't have any real white on the screen, just a dingy coloration.
Second, the monitor is rather dim. I have the brightness and contrast turned up to 100, but that doesn't really help much.
Any suggestions on how to fix this or is the monitor dying completely? If I can take in to be repaired, I'd like to at least seem like I know what I'm talking about.
