Win7 folder view

Hello,
windows 7 folder view shows a bar, at the bottom, with the total number of folders.
can I remove or show/hide this bar?

If you click on the "Organize" button near the top of an Explorer window, and then go to the "Layout" submenu, just click on the "Details Pane" option and it will no longer be visible.
