Whats the key to modify dungeon traps with the roguelike keyset? I
tried O, ctrl-direction, '+'-direction, none of them does it. Thanks

O followed by direction to the trap works for me. It's the same as
creating the trap. I only wish that you could create a trap where you
are standing, like you do with Rune.

You must have a laptop; the ordinary keyset is a disaster without a
numeric keypad.

if I try O and direction where there is already a trap, it says "You
can only set a trap on an empty floor space"

The only way I can repro this is to attempt to modify a dungeon trap.
The only traps you can modify are the "basic" monster traps you set
yourself.

You can only modify a trap once. Once you've turned it into a life
draining trap (or whatever) you can't change your mind.

ahh, now I get it, you first set a basic trap and then modify your own
trap. somehow I thought I was supposed to be modifying the other traps
I found in the dungeon. Thanks

hmmmm, that might be an interesting enhancement.
