Does THG suck??

Well... I have heard alot of guys from this forum, on more than one occasion, express a lack of effort from THG, or even just come out and say that THG sucks now.

I want to know what you guys think. I know that many of us read a bunch of different sites for our guides and reviews. So where does THG rank?

1. What do you think about the quality and quantity of THG lately?
2. Which sites do you like better?
3. What is it that gives the other sites this edge over THG?

why isnt this in the polls section and why didnt you make it into a poll?

I wouldn't say they suck per say

But they seem to be unable to f*** intel in the a~~ without giving them a reach around.

Why don't you do that and give the questions a little thought.

The bias toward AMD thing keeps popping up, that would be a good question.

I really enjoy coming to THG. I saw Crash write recently that THG was not as pure as it was [sorry, Crash, that may be the wrong word but you know what I mean]. I suppose that for hardcore hardware guys THG might not be the same site it was 5 years ago etc.

But I'm coming at it from a novice's perspective and I think THG is trying really hard to offer a rock solid hardware site [the interactive CPU charts are sensational; GPU charts; recommendations based on rock solid testing].

Not only that, but do you enjoy coming to THG community Fishy? I really do love it here, the people are good and generous [I've lost count on how many times the guys here have helped me out with pc problems]. The 'other' section is just brilliant for a chat, you know.

For me, I love THG. Two all the way!

Thomas Pabst is the Tom at Tom's who started this site. He is a German and went to school to become a Doctor, which he became, but found he liked computers instead and started a hardware guide.
I stumbled across this site around 1997 when he was the primary reviewer and he has helped to fuel my passion for computers since.
