Information screen in middle of screen.

How do I get rid of an info pop up on my moniter? Shows model # serial # and manufacture date. Pops up constantly. About 3" by1". Sony moniter SDM-HS95P

I found the manual for that model online here:

Page 19 says holding down the menu button causes that box to appear, and pressing the menu button again will cause it to disappear.
