Trouble installing window 7

Hello,
I was installing Windows 7 pro on my vista laptop and I get the first set up section then it shows this
"windows set-up cannot parse the provided command-line options"

What is the hardware configuration of your laptop? Are you attempting to perform a custom or upgrade installation?

You might want to run a chkdsk to confirm there are no bad sectors in your hard drive.
