adaptec 2930U win2k compatibility

i've heard some things about win2k having probs with burning...the adaptec 2930U is supposed to have full support in win2k however my friend cannot get it to work, i just ordered this card and i wondering wether to cancel. Does anyone else have this card? Does it work or doesn't it?

I have it, I run a 4gb ibm scsi hdd and a scsi burner off of it under win2k pro and i havent noticed any problems.
Make sure he has his burner software installed/configured properly and hes using the latest drivers for the scsi card.
