Internet is slow
Last response: in Windows 7
My friend recently upgraded their internet speed . After the upgrade their download speed as around 1. All other computers in the home are not having the issue. I have tried to help but no luck please help.

Are they now using Wireless N 300 speed on the new router? Was it G before?
On some wireless routers, they have the channel speed setting set to 20-hz instead of 40-hz. Have them check that setting in the new router.
Also, what is the wireless speed of the network card in the computer/laptop that is trying to connect to the new router?
