Hp pavillion dv1005 ssd

Hello,

My Zepto 6625wd just died on me and I can't afford to buy a new computer at this moment.

However I still have my old computer (hp pavillion dv1005ea) fully functional and I was wondering if I could buy a small SSD to boost the performance on it a bit.

What do you say, waste of money or not? Will it fit? It is sata1 I believe while the ssd is sata2!?

SATA 2 will work, but still a waste of money. just get a regular HDD for that old system and save money for a new one.
If you really want to boost the performance, nothing better than upgrading the memory to the max supported by that system (considering the mobo and the OS).
