Have had this laptop for three or four months now, and have started running into the following issue about a week back:
Would Logon, startup normally took about ten seconds, now startup takes roughly five minutes. When everything does load, I attempt to go online... but can't. The normally clear taskbar is now grey/gray after the screen 'blinks' I troubleshoot wireless properties, and the computer tells me that the Windows Wireless Service is not running on the computer. I repair the issue as administrator, and the theme suddenly changes back to Aero (my default) I go online for about thirty seconds when the Wireless service turns itself off again and the taskbar blinks back to grey/gray. I troubleshoot that once more and don't have any troubles for the rest of that session. This happens EVERY time that I log on.
Other notes: have not installed anything new, nor have I gone onto any new sites within a month. When I went to run a full system scan this morning, my laptop crashed and blue-screened. Now It cannot complete a full system scan (gets stuck on a game file) and I have yet to do a quick scan. It will run any other program just fine, but whenever i take any steps to repair the problem or diagnose the problem: It tends to go from incredibly fast to unbearably slow, not even registering the CTRL + ALT + DEL command, and when it does react: It tells me that the logon processes were unable to bring up something about security settings for the CTRL + ALT + DEL command.
