AMD Palomino Question

Does anyone know if, say, I buy a 266mhz DDR Athlon with the 760 chipset, would I be able to upgrade to a Palomino in the future? Or will the Palomino require a new motherboard? Thanks for any info.

All the info we have now says that the palomino will work on current socket A motherboards.
