Need a laptop for a 16 yr old

Hello,

I was wondering if any of you could recommend a laptop for my 16 year old? He will do some gaming, I'm sure, but he isn't really into games that much. He likes his music, of course and would probably want to watch movies on it.

Would any of you have a suggestion that would be under $500?

Difference is the first one is recertified by Asus and 2nd one is brand new which exceeds your budget, if you can increase budget go with the 2nd one, if on hard budget then go with 1st one

Or go with this one. It has an i3 350m but only integrated graphics. Still, it's 100.00 off right now and if you're a costco member in CA it comes out to 563.00. I know because I just bought one!
