Hey this is the first time i have ever posted on here so if i screw up please don't be too mad. So here is my problem my old mouse broke and i bought an HP USB 3 Button optical mouse to replace it and when i first plugged the mouse in it worked fine...until windows tried to install drivers for it. After unplugging and plugging back in a few time to see if that would work i made sure all my drivers were up to date and that windows was up to date, which they were. I have uninstalled the universal serial bus controllers restarted and plugged the mouse back in and even that hasn't fixed the problem so i have now idea what to do now. I am currently using mouse keys but that is tedious and i cant game with them so hopefully i can get some help if not i suppose i will be re formatting.
