Does anyone know if there is going to be a chipset that supports having dual athlon's I know there was a mention of this from amd but what's the hold up, how come we haven't seen a dual processor athlons systems yet?

The motherboards are still being developed. There should be some dual Athlon mobo's out in 2 months or so.

Not yet, but as Griz says, they are under development, dunno about 2 months though, but we can hope

amd states that the 760mp chipset will be released in q2 2001. i t supports two cpus per north bridge and you should be able to use multiple north bridges per motherboard to run even more cpus! but more than 2 cpus wont be out for a while
(i think some time in 2002).
