ASUS G53JW-XA1 or Dell XPS 15

I am trying to decide between the two notebooks. It is mainly for school, but also enjoy playing World of Warcraft. I will be upgrading from the Dell Inspiron E1705 17 inch notebook. The weight is not really an issue and moving to 15inch because I want it slightly smaller to fit my backpack, but enough to keep my desktop view at approx 1440 x 900 range.

My limit is under $1,500 and it looks like the ASUS is a better deal even with the Dell student discount. Below are the specs for ASUS and options I selected for Dell. Feedback would be greatly appreciated.

It seems very easy decision mate, go with Asus G53 with 2times more powerful GTX460 than GT435

err! I just saw the video for the ASUS G53 and noticed the power adapter is on the right side of the notebook. This is not good for me because I like to use an external mouse have a small board that I put my notebook one. This will stick out like 4 or so inches to the right.

NOTE= the laptop contains i5 560m by stock which is very close to i7 720qm, however if you still want to upgrade it you can because laptop is customizable on the page which i sent you.

And yes it has power adapter and hdmi port on backside of laptop.

Not only does the ASUS win by a country mile, I personally prefer - and recommend - ASUS over the other brands. I never really used any of the Sager or Lenovo laptops but I do not know enough about them. Get what suits but make SURE you buy your product from your Country of Residence. You will be forced to pay $300+ in shipping and import tax if you buy from overseas.
