Hi all,

I can't seem to find any article that has tried overclocking a PII266 with a BH6 to it's max.

I have tried overclocking it to 350 megahertz but the computer automatically reboots after a while? Why? CPU RUNNING too fast?

Settings in CPU SOFT MENU II is

100 FSB (1/3)and multiplier is 3.5, turbo frequency disable, AGP to CPU ratio is 2/3 and core voltage is 2.8 default.

When I tried overclocking it to 300 Mhz itruns ok but programs freezes just a bit sometimes.

Anyoneout there that has this similar problem please let me know as I want the highest count and stability.

Oh.. 256 RAM

Increase your core voltage by up to 10% (try 3.0 volts) and get a better CPU cooler. Try the better cooler first, then if it is not stable raise the voltage.

Disable your L2 cache in bios and see if that corrects the problem.

Your ram may also be PC66 with no room for increase in speed.

I second that motion. Check to make sure your ram is PC 100. If it is not, get some cheap PC133 now while the prices are low.
