I've noticed there are now a lot of cracks for the file-sharing app Kazaa that remove spyware Cydoor and the banners. I was just thinking... If the only way Sherman (the company that makes Kazaa) makes money is with ads, how can they stay in business and continue to offer Kazaa. We're already stealing from artists, but now we'll be stealing from the distributor of the files. We're ripping everyobody off! Companies have to use even the shameless Spyware to keep costs down, but this Kazaa case could really blow up I think.
The question is....Will all of the ad-blocking software put internet companies out of business?
Most people live at the speed of life, I drink Mountain Dew!
not likely. 99% of the phone calls from telesalesmen just get turned down or hung up on. i think thats a much larger percentage of people that just deal with all the popups. it hasnt hurt those companys any. companys that resort to advertising with kazza probly dont sell anything worth 2 pennys anyway.
how do you shoot the devil in the back? what happens if you miss? -verbal
