i cant seem to raise my clock multiplier above six. the bios registers the higher multiplier but wcpuid only shows six. i have a celeron 400a on a slot 1 to slotket370 converter and an abit bx6 rev 2 mb.

The BX6-2 only supports celerons upto 400MHZ any way.
did you want to overclock?

The Multiplier in all Celerons are locked, to overclock you'll have to up the FSB.
