athlon?

maybe this is a stupid question, but noticed on Tom's dream system, they show a socket A motherboard with an Athlon proceesor. I though Athlon's were slot A not socket A? whats up? Am i just wrong?

The newer generation Athlons (Thunderbirds) use Socket A, unlike the old ones that used Slot A.
