Howdy,
I've been reading here about 'B' version and 'C' version Athlons. I recently purchased a 1.2G TBird and was all prepared to connect the L1 bridges with my trusty #2 when I realized that my new TBird's L1 bridges were already closed.

So does this mean I have a newer 'C' version? And if so, does that mean it runs at 133 FSB natively? I put this chip in an Asus A7V133 board and everything is running great, but I just wonder if there isn't something I need to do in the BIOS to identify the chip as 133 FSB if it is.

Thanks,
Tom

my guess would be read the codes on the top of the die and compare them to the settings that tom describes in the first tbird article. I think the last character of the code would be a B or C, but i would check to make sure.
