Which CPU do you use?

I am starting this thread after being co-inspired by Grizley1 and FUGGER to do it so we can share the blame later on (JK).

If there is a need to move this post later fine but my question is:

Which x-86 compatible CPU is in the computer that you feel is your's (i.e. your home computer not your work computer)?

That's all I want to see, no flame wars, no comments about heat, incompatibility and price, no double posting (even though I can't police this if you do) and when I feel that there is a fair representation of the population on Tom's Forums, I will post another thread with the results.

Let the battle begin with my signature!

(But before anyone can begin to think that I favor one company over the other, I'd like to point out that one is a 486, one is a 133, one is a 166MX, and one was an ultra-cheap "get this the heck out of our inventory" sale Celeron 500. I'm still waiting to purchase what I'd consider to be a computer that I'm actually happy with.)

My new system will have dual Morgans unless Intel shows me some kind of supa-Celerons or ultra cheap P!!!
  27. I have 2 machines at home, the x86 is a CUSL2 with a P3 800E overclocked w/winME.

Actually it sucks. It gets beaten by any 133MHz FSB based machine. And the small cache really sucks.
It DOES do some things really fast, like booting up windows... -and it was dead-cheap anyway...

    The real question should be:
what CPU did you buy over the last 18 months ? Those are the CPU's that are likely to generate new posts on this forum. I dont think I'll need a lot of help setting up my old P166 that hasnt been open in over a year.
